Well, it's January, 2008 and Happy New Year.
It's bound to be an exciting one politically. Already the
presidential races are off to an interesting start.
New Jersey's presidential primary is on
February 5, part of the new Super Tuesday. It will be an excellent opportunity
to express your choice to represent the Republican Party.
It's not an easy choice, though.. Several of the high profile
candidates have already dropped out, and not one of the remaining has
expressed consistent conservative views, making it difficult for those
of us who believe in limited government, spending cuts, reduced taxes,
and a strong national defense.
Unfortunately, there seems to be an echo of
liberal positions rather than a choice, to borrow from Barry Goldwater. The candidates describe the different ways they
want government to do things without giving thought as to whether it
should be done at all.
Well, the best way for us to make a difference
is to vote. Declare yourself a Republican today and qualify to
vote in the presidential primary. Then check out our Campaign 2008
page and learn about each candidate from their own websites.
